Abstract

The Regional Office of Environment and Forestry of the Special Region of Yogyakarta requires employee performance that aligns with its mandate of public service and environmental conservation. This study aims to analyze the effects of green organizational culture, green leadership, and the non-physical work environment on employee performance. The research employed a quantitative approach using a five-point Likert scale questionnaire. A total of 60 civil servants who had worked for at least one year were selected as respondents through a saturated sampling method. The data were analyzed using SPSS, including validity, reliability, normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity tests, as well as the F-test, multiple linear regression, t-test, and coefficient of determination. The results indicate that green organizational culture has a positive effect on employee performance (B = 0.303; p = 0.002), as does the non-physical work environment (B = 0.343; p = 0.015). Green leadership shows a positive direction, but its effect is not statistically significant (B = 0.153; p = 0.273). These findings emphasize that strengthening environmentally oriented organizational values and fostering a supportive work environment have a greater influence on employee performance than leadership.
